Exodus 6:6-7 NIV – “Therefore, say to the Israelites: ‘I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment. I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.

As the Lord spoke to Moses, He revealed the plan to redeem the children of Israel. He also revealed through this how He would redeem us to be His children. He also reveals in this the plan for our prosperity.

Success is moving people from where they are to where they need to be.

The Cup of Sanctification – Bring out from under the yoke – Recovery

(Exodus 6:6-7) “I will bring you out from under the yoke…”

Forced as slaves to make bricks. You feel enslaved.

Proverbs 22:7 – The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.

We define this as scarcity to stability.

This person is the opportunist.

The person in the recovery phase needs accountability. They need someone to help them work together to get out of the hole.

Every person who tries to find their purpose in life without getting rid of their own slavery, will never find it. You can’t skip a step. The order is important. Let go of the past.

Vision leaks…sometimes we forget why we’re doing things.

3 Things necessary to get to the next level:

  1. Take action. Do something different.
  1. Albert Einstein – The same level of thinking that got you to where you are is not the same level of thinking that will get you to where you want to be.
  2. 2 Corinthians 6:17 – Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
  3. Get help. You can’t do it alone.
    1. Mark 8:34 –   Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat; I am. Follow me and I’ll show you how.
  4. Commit to change.
    1. Ephesians 4:22-24 – You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

The goal of Step 1 is to create change in your heart.

The Cup of Deliverance- Free from slavery – Strategy

Once the major issues are handled, communication issues are on track, plans must be put in place to grow. This is also where belief systems start to change and emergency planning starts.

Proverbs 21:5 – The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.

Everyone has issues in which they need deliverance. The best place to get help is with other people.

Go through the process to get you back to square 1.

The goal of cup 2 is victory over the mindsets that hold you back.

3 Things necessary to get to the next level:

  1. Victory over habits
    • Isaiah 55:2 – Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare.
  2. Healing wounds
    • The devil’s goal is to keep us down. Keep us in a cycle of repeating financial mistakes over and over

Ephesians 2:10 – For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

You have a divine, supernatural enablement. It is something that you have grace for that you enjoy doing.

People need to be part of things with other people.

Move, then move others.

3 requirements for this level:

  1. A calling
    • 2 Timothy 1:9 MSG – God, who first saved us and then called us to this holy work. We had nothing to do with it. It was all his idea, a gift prepared for us in Jesus long before we knew anything about it.
    • You must desire to make a difference
  2. A cause
    • Acts 20:24 NLT – But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.

To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
